We are pleased to announce that Phase 1 of the Official Receiver’s Office’s Electronic Submission System (“ESS”) is launched on 29 December 2023.
In alignment with the "Smart Government" initiative, the ESS transforms key ORO services into a digital format. This serves to improve accessibility and convenience for our stakeholders, including members of the public and private insolvency practitioners (PIPs).
The Public Portal of ESS allows undischarged bankrupts to submit their Annual Statement of Earnings and Property Acquired (“Annual Statement”); and discharged bankrupts to apply for a “Letter Confirming No Objection to Issuance of the Certificate by the High Court” (“No-objection Letter”) electronically.
To log into the Public Portal of the ESS, you need to input your bankruptcy case name and case year as well as your personal information. A one-time password will then be generated and sent to your electronic device via SMS or email, depending on your choice at the login page.
The one-time password is sent to the mobile number or email address that you had made known to the Official Receiver’s Office. Thus, you should always keep the Official Receiver’s Office informed of your updated mobile number or email address. If you do not receive the one-time password, please contact your case officer for assistance. Your case officer will verify and update, if necessary, your mobile number or email address on our record.
